Research
Research in automotive engineering at Ghent University spans several departments and research clusters within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Fundamental and strategic basic research lies within the responsibility of the individual departments involved (see below). Research with direct involvement of third parties is coordinated through business development centers, one per thematic cluster, with a single point of contact (liaison business&technology officers).
